Spring 2002:
Modestly named duo comprising Thaddeus Herrmann (electronics) and Christian Kleine (electronics, guitar) from Berlin. Herrmann is working as an editor for premier german electronic music magazine de:bug as well as putting out records on his City Centre Offices imprint co-run by Shlom Sviri (Boomkat, Manchester). One of cco's releases is "Beyond Repair", the first full length from Kleine, who also successfully works as a solo artist.
As a team their first release was the "Transalpin" ep on cco in 1999. Other releases were the seminal "Kickboard Girl" ep and their debut album "Our Noise", both on Morr Music, mainly recorded in their respective home studios in their pastime. They contributed to some compilations as well as doing some remixes for His Name Is Alive, Skanfrom and on the Bomb The Bass/Lali Puna ep on Morr Music.
Their music is an individual combination of various influences like 80s-synth-pop, classic indie rock or hip hop. Herrmann has a past as a member of Sonic Subjunkies who released some records on Alec Empire's DHR.
