fm belfast sign to morr music!

The good news: Your new favourite band has just signed to Morr Music: FM Belfast! Their live performances and their debut album 'How To Make Friends' caused euphoric reactions around the world. FM Belfast will release a new album called 'Don't Want To Sleep' on Morr Music (coming up in June), and they play an important role in a film called 'Backyard' (watch the trailer here), that portrays this new Icelandic scene in the most entertaining way: by documenting an unexpected and heart-warming Icelandic block party also featuring other beloved Morr artists like Sin Fang, Múm and Borko. FM Belfast's song 'Underwear' was not only the peak of this backyard-gig - it became a hit of their jaw-dropping live shows all over Europe. So we decided to honour this party-track by re-releasing it digital & for the first time on 7inch vinyl. Both versions include the original, an exclusive live version of the track (as seen on 'Backyard') and an acoustic cover version by Prins Póló. The single is available via Itunes as of now and on 7inch via anost.net from March 25th on (pre-orders are welcome)! And good news for all the crazy FM Belfast fans out there: the band has just announced the first shows for 2011 & they will also attend this year's SXSW Festival in Austin! Big Time!
